I am actually impressed by this work, great job. Well done and polished base game mechanic with enough room for skill improvement, I actually liked attention to difference of all of the combat moves while keeping controls scheme very simple and straight forvard. Interesting style and soundtrack. I hope to see your future projects both here and on the other platforms, keep going!

introduction is hilarious, gameplay is sick, ost is nuts, minigame is c00l. would be awesome to see variety in gameplay and some modifications of base mechanics as you reach higher waves or smth

Interesting concept but implementation is not as good, as it could be. Small things like definitely overpowered first skellies, unintuitive melee range (makes me avoid any direct fight), uneven orbitals placement make this game feel much duller than it could be.
Reminds old versions of Nuclear Throne

Nice but almost generic. Music is sick, pixel scaling isn't applied, so it breaks pixel art so much, ice blocks feel weirdly soft instead of solid (because of engine, I suppose, but anyway), ice shots don't always land accurately, no clue why. All other is fine

Would be nice, if these instruments were actually synchronized with music notes and could be determined somehow, which line is which instrument. Overall, not bad, not bad at all

HealliesGames responds:

Initially each amplifier represented each instrument.
However, time was running out and I had to adapt the idea to complete it; I prefer to finish a game than to present an half project.

Thanks for the feedback, DrBlacker!

Liked moving slime mechanics and puzzles but this game has couple of other problems, mostly not relatred to gameplay, as I think. Sound design and volume mastering is not so good; what about art design: everything looks kind of inhomogeneous or whatever (that's mostly because of pixel scaling, I guess); and, as a lot of people has already told, controls are bad.

Overall intresting game, puzzles and idea, but gameplay concept doesn't work a little bit because everything is happening way too slowly
Edit: thanks for ''shift'' but I find grey colors while speeding up excessive, because colors of walls and buttons aren't recognisable in that case

Criobite responds:

I see what you mean about full greyscale being a bit much, I'll see about toning it back a bit.

Edit: Updated the game to only go partially grey, but added a pressed frame to the button graphic to feel more responsive.

Not bad at all

MD-Wade responds:

Thank you for playing!

I try myself at music. Newgrounds has always been a huge part of me since primary school times, so now I want to become part of it myself.
